# Phallogocentrism
Originally an invective invented by
philosopher Jacques Derrida, phallogocentrism is the belief that
philosophy only can arise as a conscious focus on the dialectics of
logos and pathos within the phallic world of the mind; Bard & Söderqvist
claim in a kind of Hegelian opposition to "the pillar-saint" Derrida
that phallogocentrism is a necessity that has not yet received its
definite form.
